6 players and counting, two RBs, most notably their star recruit Brandon Williams. There are rumors of a full scale mutiny online FWIW, I personally think the Martinez and Venebles chickens have come home to roost.

Brandon Williams
Max Stevenson
Josh Aladenoye
James Haynes
Jermie Calhoun
Jonathan Miller

Any OU fans want to shed light on what the hell is going on? There are some disturbing posts from alleged parents of these kids.

Here's one of the posts from one of the alleged parents:

Folks, you may not like some of the things you are about to hear but they have to be said. I have a son leaving this program and have many mixed emotions. It has been a tough road and there have been mistakes on both sides of the equation. I will say that from my experience on the inside of the program that there are serious problems in this program. Please don't attack me as an OU hater because I have a great respect for this program. The moral that I have witnessed is one of the lowest that I have seen in a program. This program is seeing an exodus because the people in charge of this program have forgotten that they have to be able to inspire those around them. The truly great coaches and programs have this ability and it pays great dividends. Yes, the players have a responsibility, but it still requires inspiration. As far as my son goes, I had never seen him have any problems until he arived at OU. It is a tough amd new environment but something went really wrong and unfortunately we may never know what it was. For those that will disagree, the proof will be in the pudding. It always plays out in the end. We wish you the best of luck and hopefully this program can return to the program that we thought it was. P.S. Some of your coaches are not who you think they are.

Another "parent" states their kid was TOLD to transfer, GTFO, whatever......

Is Stoops just cleaning house or is something else going on?

I'm pretty certain they didn't want Brandon Williams to leave.

I can ask around. I focus most of my time on schools directly related to mine but the people I talk to may know something. I will ask tomorrow.

I'm very curious, you don't see this kind of thing happen at OU very often. This YEAR has just been crazy, 2011 was without a doubt the craziest year in sports maybe ever.

Agreed. It's just weird. Oh, and I told you there were rumors about B Williams a week after he got on campus that he was extremely homesick and would transfer.

What happened to kids committing, working their tails off, and earning playing time? Now everyone wants to just be handed starting jobs, or transfer when they aren't crowned big man on campus after a week.

ESPN/RIVALS/SCOUT going to their schools and having "Hat picking" Ceremonies and the internet popularity are making all of them into prima donnas.

Makes you wonder why more kids like this don't get attention:

I think someone challenged this person to see how many times they could use the word "program" without actually saying anything about it.

It's just getting out of hand. Darius White was the top WR in his class. He caught 6 passes in 2 years at Texas, 5 THIS year when our top 3 WRs went down, and he STILL couldn't step up and see the field. And he dropped most of the passes that came his way.

With that resume, he really thinks he's going to star somewhere else, like A&M. I don't even think he can crack their crappy lineup of WRs. This is what we are left with.

I'm seriously thinking we should target more 3 star guys that really want to play and earn it instead of all these 5 star guys that flat out suck because they don't want to work.

Those same 5 stars are performing for Les Miles and Nick Saban. Brown just doesn't motivate ya and has that damn stupid clap for everything good and bad! I hate it.
