I did preface it with the opinion (which is widely regarded) that Armstrong has not come close to reaching his full potential.

Some of the throws he makes are serious head scratchers though.

He is also tied for 7th in the country in interceptions thrown (5)

His quarterback rating is 44th in the country (146.8), which really tells the story. He's an outlier in that regard in terms of the top 10 passers in yards.

And by outlier, I mean that the avg QB rating of the top 10 passers in the country is 164.38 which would be good for about 19th in the country overall.

He has the 2nd lowest rating of the top 10.
