Day 1: Bo is acting like a giddy school girl. Haven't seen him this nice to the media in a loooong time. This is bound to change.

-Lester Ward is getting a look at Tight End.

-Mike McClure is done. Too many concussions.

-Jay Martin @ TE is out for Spring

-It must be really akward between Jamal Turner and Taylor... With some of the things Jamal said about Taylor, ("I'm a little more fancy than him") etc.

Chase Rome looks like he wants to rip everyone's head off in just about every pic I've seen.. and Vestal looks big too.

Be interesting to see what shakes out at QB, Cody's put on some good weight, Taylor can't get worse and there's two unknowns in Turner and Carnes.

The pic I saw of Rome looks like he's auditioning for the Staypuff Marshmallow Man. Spare tire and saggy biceps galore.

Maybe that's just part of the winter program...I hopes. Bulk up then lean down.

By the way...anyone know why Trey Rob left? He was sitting clearly #2 after Roy left, and #1 when Rex is wildcat. Someone pee in his Cornflakes? Or did he just want to be the one and only?

That makes sense Brasky...just trying to make peace with the fact he was kind of my sentimental favorite.

I wish he (bubba) was here for spring ball. He would have just as good of a shot as anyone because of the new play book. Or at least he would have a much better one. If he can compete as hard as Jamal he could maybe win the backup spot behind Taylor.

Brasky did you watch any of the videos of the first practice? It seems to me I saw a play out of the Osborne playbook where the wingback rolled as the triple option ala 1995 vs. Florida. Truth be told..it got my secret parts excited.

No one talks about how those sets revolutionized football and really led us to where spread is today. Watching the SEC teams make me think of that game every time they square off. Maybe Tom copied it from somewhere but, if so, I dunno who that genius was.

Practice is probably pretty odd for the RB's.. only 1/4 of the top 4 depth chart being on campus and all.. good time for walk-ons to shine, and we've got a couple decent ones.
