Marquette beat them by 4 in a super secret(and extremely important) scrimmage.

This means they are at least a top 23 team and should already have a marquee win come selection Sunday.

Looks like the Badgers will potentially play 5 top 25 teams and 2 top ten teams (depending on their early tournament). We will see if they are legit championship contenders early.

Of course we lose Ray Smith to what is likely a career ender and Chance Commanche is suspended indefinitely for academics. GREAT start to the season before it has started!

Ugh, I heard about Smith's injury, but was hoping it wasn't another season ending injury. Such a shame, with so much promise and potential. Any word on what he injured? Man Arizona has just been killed by injury the last 3 seasons. Probably the favorites to win it all in 2013-2014 before Ashley got hurt. Then last year not having Smith and Zeus and Trier missing time.
