Nah. On the subject you were discussing. One time our waitress at the bar said, "I don't give my # out at work..." but then lingered. She kept coming over to talk to me. The whole time I was like, "jeeze chica, you shot me down, what do you want?"

Never occurred to me that she wanted me to just ask her out somewhere instead of getting her #, and that she was one of those girls who follows the rules at work.

This was definitely not the case. I was sitting down and he kept coming up to talk to me. And I kept brushing him off. At one point he said he wasn't going to give up. If you have to say that, you should give up.
