BTN made it's way onto my favorites menu earlier this year. It has become a fixture. It's been a long time coming for a channel with so much focus.

FSN's coverage of the Big XII was weak and NET is PBS.

I checked out BTN2GO. The resolution for the game replay is really bad. I don't knwo if this is my internet connection, which is bery inconsistent at times or just how it is.
Has anyone else checked it out and how is the resolution for you?

On my bigticket player there is a resolution option menu at the bottom right, I have to leave mine on adaptive cause of my drastically less than desirable download speed

I don't have that on BTN2Go but I have a feeling it is my connection. It says you need 750kb and 3M will give you the best resolution so it must be adaptive also.

When I run spped tests on my ISP I bounce around between 6M and 1M. It is a really shitty quality connection. But I guess it could be worse I could have Corn Trains.

Yes mines is really worst case scenario. I have to pause mine for about 15 min. every so often just so it will play without buffering. In all it took me about 4 hrs to watch the game. But I did watch it

Was curious if the BTN did this stuff. Very happy they are doing these. Right now it looks like they are doing only 2 games a week, but hopefully in the future they do all the games each week. These have commercials, so if you DVR them and skip the commercials you can probably watch the entire game in about 40 mins. Great for watching the complete games of our conference foes....

Yeah the game replays are pretty awesome. It's the same thing ESPNU does with national games (e.g., I watched Boise-Georgia last night because I missed it on Saturday, and wanted to see how Boise actually looked).

You miss some of the "feel" of the game because they basically only show the scoring drives and maybe key stops, but you can still get up to speed on other offenses/defenses.

Not so sure I like this change. Since back in the days of The Tom Osborne Show it's always been Sunday nights after the local news. It may not make much of a difference to me because I've just been DVRing it the last couple years and watching it later anyway.

Also of note, per B1G rules it is limited to 1/2 hour as opposed to the old 1 hour show.

ESPNU does the quick games? I thought they showed game replays, but didn't know they condensed them very much......maybe down to 2 hours.....but a true condensed game can be shown in 30 minutes.....BTN is doing about 40 minutes and allowing 20 minutes for commercials.....

And btw, what are you doing in Kansas?
