We post a lot of them because hockey players are really good guys, but why not make an official thread.

This was cool, on Sportscenter this morning:

Several Interactions for me. my wife knows Trevor Linden outside Hockey and one day during a bike race in yaletown (downtown vancouver) he was watching and we both saw him. He waved at my wife and called her over. I stood there like a fool. she then waved me over and I spoke with him for about 20 mins, he asked about my dogs, our new house a lot of stuff he knew about our life through my wife, he was a genuine guy that cared about my answers. IT was really cool. I just talked to him and felt like this guy

Of course there are the Sedins who donated $1.5m to the Children's Hospital, and wanted to do it anonymously.
the hospital asked if they could create some publicity over it, as they felt that there could be some additional donations from the community from using their names.
