The Astros are not the same team they were the last few years. The front office has spent some money and brought in key players that are fitting in nicely. Runs scored? The amount of runs should not be a factor as long as they put up a W. Some of the early season scores in the AL normal for the first month of the season. Once teams get going the runs scored per game will level off and as long as the Astros score 4-6 runs a game for wins that's all that matters. They have two studs in the rotation and strong relief pitching which they did not have last year or the year before that. It was not mentioned that the bullpen lost 21 games last season (that would have given them 91 wins last season). That is not the case this year. The Astros came into the season with a winning mentality. Stop comparing them to the team they had the last few seasons. Good defense and good pitching wins games, thus not needing a lot of runs to win every game. If I remember correctly winning a game 9-2 is no different than winning a game 3-2.
