I used to go to a few Clippers games every year when they played in the Sports Arena because it was the least expensive way to get to see some of the better players/teams in the league. You could buy the cheapest tickets and then practically sit courtside.

Never a line at the concession stands either.

I miss those Clippers.

Big Hornets fan tonight. In the case that we lose to the Cavs, I'd like some cushion.

The first eight points of the game belong to Kent Bazemore.

Might have shared this before, but one of the funniest things I've ever seen at an NBA game happened in one of those Clippers games.

Clips were playing Chris Mullin and Golden State. During the game, Mullin gets pissed off at the refs, gets himself kicked out with 2 techs, so he walks off the court to the locker room and took the ball with him.

Literally took his ball and went home. It was awesome and could only happen at a Clippers game. :pound:

I liked him on the Lakers. He was one of the guys I was hoping they'd be able to keep from the 2013-'14 team.

I've had high hopes for him since we signed him. I'm surprised the Lakers let him go.

If memory serves, they had just signed Kobe to his 2 year $48 million deal and were trying to keep cap space for 1 more max FA. He was offered more than the Lakers wanted to pay and took the money.

The Lakers expressed interest in retaining Bazemore during the free agency period, but obviously weren’t willing to top the offer the Hawks were sending his way. Bazemore was acquired by the Lakers in the trade that sent veteran point guard Steve Blake to the Golden State Warriors before the NBA trade deadline last season.

Cleveland is starting to take this over. Hawks need to go on a run real soon or the Cavs will start breaking this open.
