People didn't make as much money back then. But still the prices have gone out of sight. I had a season ticket to the Cleveland Browns in 1961 for $30. Not a game, the season. 6 home games. Those were the second most expensive. Dad said we couldn't afford the $6 tickets which was 36 bucks for the season.

As late as 1987, I bought the same ticket for $29 for the Cleveland-Denver AFC Championship game.
