Yep, I find it funny how espn is pretty much the Badmin on this stuff.

Not sure what to say about the hire. He's taking over a pretty young Fresno State team but playing in the MWC will be more difficult seeing that they won't have New Mexico State, Idaho, Utah State and San Jose State to beat every year.

I'm surprised how long it took for anything to come out about Hawai'i it was mostly silent for the first week and a half now there's names everywhere, I've heard something like 30 people have applied for the job.

Coastal Carolina fires David Bennett, who made the infamous 'act like dogs' statement. On the short list for a replacement is Steve Spurrier, Jr., as per a pay site.

I hear Kerwin Bell is being considered as well. Not sure how much truth is there.

Penn State Joe Schad is reporting that Baylor safeties coach Brian Norwood is a candidate (in addition to Hawaii - see below). Multiple sources tell us Penn State representatives have tried to get together in person with Mario Cristobal.

Pitt offered the job to Mario Cristobal last night. Cristobal, we are told, asked that they pause the discussions until after FIU's bowl game (Tuesday night). Class move.

Hawaii: Three guys are interviewing today. Oregon State defensive coordinator Mark Banker, Texas defensive backs coach Duane Akina and Baylor safeties coach Brian Norwood.

North Dakota State's recievers coach is in the mix to join Indiana's staff now why I'm mentioning this is like in what I posted above, I want to talk about the job done by North Dakota State defensive coordinator Scottie Hazelton, he has led a defense that's probably better than most FBS defenses

I can't believe he's not being extremely targeted by someone for the defensive coordinator position.

Christobal an Fickell are off of Pitt's list. They were "uncomfortable" with Christobal and some of his ties to Miami and Fickell is stating at OSU. It looks like Chryst is the leading candidate followed by the DLine coach from the 49ers whose name escapes me right now.

thanks sir, for some reason the sites I use didn't have any Pitt rumors today except one, your news is an interesting twist to the news I heard this morning

which is that Pitt talked to Cristobal and that Cristobal would meet with the FIU officials in a few days.

if he's out Chryst is definitely the leader.

also looks like Tony Levine will be named head coach of Houston.
