Turner Gill's name has to come up. Kansas has fallen far fast. Yeah, its Kansas but Mangino took them to 4 bowl games and they were a decent program. But now bad is an understatement.

wasn't really his fault though, the Mangino firing situation left the program a complete mess.

well candidates narrow down for Arizona, looks like Petersen won't be going there and the administration feels that Mike Leach isn't a good fit for the program

Jeff Jagodzinski, Mike Leach have already been met with

they are meeting today or tomarrow with Rich Rod

one candidate that doesn't have past coaching experience that they're interested in is Texas Defensive Coordinator Manny Diaz

Mike Riley at Oregon State is another and what a great decision it was to change coaches at Maryland.

yeah he's on the hot seat for sure, but I don't think he's gone this year, he's done too much good for the program, he will be given another year to turn it around, not his fault his team got hammered by injuries.

yes, LOL@ Maryland

apparently this site(which I use for most coaching rumors because it is incredibly reliable)^^ caught whiff of the rumors of a SEC coach that may leave due to disagreements with the AD, apparently it's Spurrier

but sources within the program say that that's not the case

What if you guys win out, go to the Rose Bowl, and win that too?

depends on whether Ohio State thinks it was the return of those players from suspensions or not, in all reality I'm pretty sure that's what this turnaround is, when it was just Fickell and the young players there was absolutely no leadership and the team just fell apart, once those players came back from suspensions the team's performance improved from the get-go.

depends on whether Ohio State sees that or not.

more news

Sean Payton is supporting his recievers coach Curtis Johnson for the Tulane job, he's in the mix

New Mexico plans on hiring someone before the football season ends.

some are saying Tim Beckman from Toledo is a candidate, but it's not considered likely that he would leave Toledo for New Mexico.

Rich Rod, Leach and Tommy Bowden are the main candidates mentioned

:L if they hire Bowden

he sucks at even coaching at the D2 level.
