Florida is a good team, not great. I could see them getting beat early in the tourney.

I don’t know how much you have watched them play, but they are much better than good. They are a team. On their worst shooting nights, they’ve found a way to grind it out and win with ridiculously harassing defense. Best Defense in the country in my opinion. Billy Donavan is the Man; Gators will go very deep in the Tourney.

Part of me wants my team to lose one here pretty soon, just to get the “win streak” monkey off their back before the Tournament. That sounds weird, but sometimes I think the pressure of a big win streak can get pretty intense, and the last thing on earth you want to do is have that one nightmare game in the first or second round of a single-elimination tournament. Losing for Syracuse might have been a very good thing in the long run........

The game has just passed Mike Jarvis by. At this stage of his career he would probably still make a good Assistant somewhere. But he was never a strong recruiter. More of an X's and O's kinda guy.

ktg8r....Just looked it up. SU is playing at 7pm on Friday....that explains why the Gators are on at 1pm. For real....SU or Florida on at prime time. You know the deal.
