if they were all in different regions of the bracket, i wouldn't be at all surprised if this happened.

Nova isn't that good, it's as simple as that. I thought that at the beginning of the season, and then they won so many games that I decided they HAD to be good to be able to get some of those good wins. Right now I am struggling to understand how Iowa lost to this team. (Kansas, I can understand since it was the beginning of the season and they are such a different team than they were then)

Because Nova made like 9 3's in 6 minutes... LOL. Really about that simple. A 15 point lead disappears quick when the other team is making 27 foot 3's every time down the court.

Surprised to see Zona at 2. Road/neutral site wins over the current #5, #10, and #11 teams is certainly a factor.
