Barners are a silly bunch. They thought that they'd be where Bama is right now before the season started and they can't take it that they've stunk it up yet again. May buy a couple Birmingham Bowl tickets and go laugh at them unless something better comes up.

I just rewatched the game and Adam Griffiths 50 yarder would have been good from 60 easily. It landed 10 rows up in the stands.

Cool, we need him to take some of the load. Looks like neither bo or harris are ready.
Yup. I really hoped we'd see Bo get some meaningful carries in the IB.

Any of y'all nervous at all about the game tomorrow? It almost feels the same way it did last year going into the game against Mizzou, just kinda meh imo.

Florida has faced 2 great RBs this season, Cook and Fournette. Lost to both.

I like our chances.

I'm more worried about how well our offense is going to do. It will be a big deal to have an offense that is clicking before entering the playoffs and this is a defense that should test us.

If we have a dismal offensive performance in the game, we are probably screwed for the playoffs. But if we can muster up 30+ pts, we should be in decent shape.

Not worried. In 3 of their last 4 games they had 1 offensive TD in regulation and that was against FAU. They did play S.Carolina as tough or tougher than Clemson did. I think we wear them down late and control the 4th quarter.

The only Ohio fan on the planet that gets it.(except for Hayes)

I think Alabama has set a bar that is unrealistic for everybody else. But what Nick Saban is doing, it’s like saying you’re not accomplishing what Bill Belichick is accomplishing so you need to be fired because the bar is so high. This is a consistent dynasty that Alabama’s had now for 7 years. And I know they haven’t won seven championships but they’ve been a game away from getting there for seven straight years.

"I never thought after what Florida State did for 14 years wi...th Bobby Bowden that we’d see anything close to that dynasty. But [Saban’s] not slowing down. He’ll lose Kirby Smart to Georgia, he’ll bring in the next guy and this machine will just continue to go."

Saban's gunning for his fourth national championship since 2009 this season — unprecedented in the era of annual parity — and has managed to win 10 or more games for eight consecutive years.

As the dominant force in college football's most respected conference, Saban's winning percentage sits at .828 against SEC competition since taking over the Crimson Tide job in 2007.

"What he has going is a once-in-a-lifetime, once-in-a-generation thing, and I don’t think it’s fair for athletics directors of other programs to think, ‘We need to get what he has,’ because it’s special," Herbstreit said. "It’s like Bear Bryant, Woody Hayes, Bobby Bowden — some of the greatest of all time.

"That’s who Nick Saban is."

Kirk Herbstreit

27 on offense and in scoring position at the end if we wanted. I'll take it against the #5 defensive team in the S&P.
