Random information of the day..........

Mike Minter's son, Michael Minter Jr., has moved to Omaha to live with this grandparents and begin playing high school ball here for some class A school (yet to be announced).

He started at tailback as a Freshman last year in the first game of the year for Concord First Assembly (where Mike Minter was the head coach) and he rushed for 195 yards on 11 carries and scored 3 TDs. His father benched him for the rest of the season, however, because his attitude wasn't right. That team ended up going 13-0 and winning state.

He runs the 40 in 4.4 and says he wants to play football for Nebraska like his dad. Colleges are already chomping at the bit for the chance to recruit him. The kid says moving to Nebraska will help get his attitude on track and put his future goals (Huskers) into better perspective.

Yep. Won back to back state titles at that high school and had a 33-4 record after 4 years.........so JCSU hired him.
