Hard to judge how good Sparty is at (3-18). They've got some pretty bad losses, but one of those wins was at Arizona and another over Ohio St in a different tournament.

Partly cloudy and temps in the upper 50's for the cretin game tomorrow. Thinking about making it my first attended baseball game of 2019. Been a while since Nebraska/cretin had a good fight or controversial ending.

Not sure why Nebraska isn't getting any mention in the polls. Yes, they (0-4) in the series at Oregon St, but the Beavers are defending champs and an elite baseball program through the years. Only one of those 4 losses could be considered a thrashing.

Other than that, Nebraska has not lost a series, have a win over current #13 Texas Tech, a series win over previous #21 Baylor (now Also Receiving Votes) in their house.

Three Big 10 teams are 'Also Receiving Votes'. Illinois (#26), Michigan (#36), and Indiana (#42).

Gonna have to earn any respect. Gotta win at least 20 of the next 31 to get it. Illinois and Michigan are on the schedule in April and May. They also host a series against Arizona St (#9) in early May.

And? Not that big of a deal. That young team playing in the quarter finals of the NIT was more than I thought they would accomplish at the beginning of the season.
My other team made a huge step forward yesterday. That far outweighed any disappointment last nights game may have provided.
