This isn't little league, they make a lot of good throws, especially when they field the ball moving toward the plate. The right call would have been to hold him at 3rd.
Hindsight is always 20-20. That throw kicks to the side when it hits the mound, it's a different story. They make a lot of good throws, but more times than not it's up the line, kicks off the mound or the catcher bobbles the hop.
Given the circumstances, I'm all for being as aggressive on the base paths as possible. Make the outfielder make a good throw, and make the catcher catch you stealing.
