Sucks. The rest of the offense is gonna have to pick up the slack, and the pitching staff is gonna have to start pulling their weight if there's any chance we improve on last season's record.

Don't really know of any internal options to play first.

We could probably make a deal for Brandon Moss, who is a Georgia native, and is a power threat, though he has sucked this season.

I was thinking maybe Rio Ruiz could come up and play first, but he's only played 3B, and I don't want a rookie learning a new position that is now of need.

It's 8-10 weeks. Unless he uses the steroids that Pujols got ahold of when he came back from a broken wrist after just 2 weeks.
