I woke up this morning and cut the grass, took my wife and paw in law to Cracker Barrel for lunch, then to walk around the lake (see the Face w/a name thread) and still could have blew a MLB save for free.

The Braves should be called the worst team if they can't beat the worst team. Why in the hell do they still have Johnson as our relief pitcher with the blown saves he cost the team? The pitching coach should be fucking fired! And if the organization has any brains, they would release Johnson immediately!

Good news, bad news....

Good news- We just used Jim Johnson in a 1-1 game in the 8th inning, so maybe he's out at closer?

Bad news- One of these other bums in our bullpen will now be our closer if that is indeed the case.

I'm gonna be pretty pissed if we don't trade Kemp or Phillips(preferably both) before the deadline. Any delusions of grandeur we had after getting back to .500 are out the window now.

Get this team ready to contend next season.

And God damnit, we have money to spend. and we'd better spend it over the offseason.

I've been about as patient as I can be. I'm tired of moral victories. I'm tired of rebuilding. Next season we need to be contenders, and we NEVER need to let our farm system get in as pitiful of shape as it was before this rebuild started. Draft well and make smart moves, you know, like we did when it was a forgone conclusion we were going to win the NL East every season.

How do you only manage 4 runs in 20 innings against the God damn Phillies.

We need to Unload as much as we can. Everyone except Freeman,Camargo, Inciarte, Albies, and. Acuna should be available.


I think Dickey and Suzuki could get us decent returns.

I'd also add Folty to the list of untouchable.

But outside of those names, there's really not anyone we would get much of a haul for except maybe Matt Adams. Nobody is gonna give more than some mid range prospects for Dickey at his age.
