We went 20-10 to finish the season last season despite having a team ERA over over 5. All of those base runners will eventually turn into runs.

Baseball is a funny game and things tend to balance out of the course of 162 games. We're not gonna be in any real contention for a playoff spot, but I firmly believe we will be a competitive team that will finish around .500.

I don't think so. We had a winning record the second half of last season and we were one of the best teams in baseball the month of September. We're gonna score runs, and when Mauricio Cabrera gets back and AJ Minter gets called up, our bullpen will be a hell of a lot better. Cabrera/Minter has potential to be a Venters/Kimbrel type combo at the end of games.

If we follow the trajectory of the rebuild process, it should have us around .500 this season, and contending for a playoff spot next season.
