We should put Adams at SS when Freddie comes back....He cant possibly be worse than Dansby.

We should have been out of the inning if he fields either of them balls so the Krol and Adams errors shouldnt have happened. He has commited more errors this year than Simmons did in 4.

But for all the great plays Simmons made, the one that stood out the most to me was him throwing the ball into right field on what should have been an easy force out at second. Chipper had a similar throwing error as well.

That had as much to do with us losing that WC game as that cocktarded Sam Holbrook and his myopic understanding of an infield fly.

But Simmons was a rookie, and it was Chipper's last ever game, so we forgave them.

Freddie is the one who brought it up to move to 3rd. Total team player. Our offense is stacked if he does this.

The biggest thing IMO will be the throw to 1B for Freddie..im not worried at all about the fielding part of it.

Freddie played third base almost exclusively in high school. Might be a few hiccups early on, but give that man a little time to adjust, and I'm confident he could be a Cy Young winning pitcher.

And also worth noting, Freddie has one of the best throwing arms in the Majors at first base.

That move to left field lead to a lot of injuries for Chipper. Team player, my all time favorite player, but I sort of wish he would have said "Vinny Castilla can kiss my ass, I'm the third baseman."

Those injuries are the only reason Chipper's not in the 500 homer club and the 3000 hit club.

They can start the game at 2 AM. They have about a 2 hour window to get 4.5 innings in.
