Darin's safe for another 3-4 years I think boosters will keep him around as long as possible. No way baseball brings in enough money to justify Erstad getting fired "early" even if he can't win the big ten.

I think we'll win games next season. I think Morrow and Watson in particular are going to have a huge year.

What do you think Duke is going to do when coach K retires throw their hands up and say that was fun now let's go hire us mid major Coach. Good up and commer.
Something tells me they are going to keep that train a chugging and they are going to pay to do it.

I just can't wrap my head around keeping a coach that has lost 4 out of the 5 years he has been here. Combine that with the last 5 games. He has completely lost control of the team. Something happened and there was a rift between Tim and the team. And I can't imagine it getting better next year. Now what if players start transfering is he still retained? To me it's cut bait time.

HP.....Duke is one of the most successful Basketball programs of all time. When coach K leaves Duke is going to get whoever the hell they want!!! Because every coach in the world knows that the best recruits in the world are attracted to Duke. So bringing in recruits is not difficult.....which makes your job that much easier.

Nebraska is not a recruit magnet. We have flashy facilities, but we are actually one of the worst basketball programs in the history of College Basketball. And every coach in the world knows it. There is no job security at Nebrasketball. You are signing a piece of paper saying "I agree to probably end my career as a head coach for this amount of money."

Dude do you really think they are playing for Duke or coach K? You think it's Duke or coach K that gets the players to the NBA. And when you hire a coach of that caliber they can win anywhere. You have to spend the money on a sure thing and force it. This mid major wing and a prayer that we have always done is a recipe for desaster.

You can't sit here and tell me that high school kids see Nebraska and Duke equally until they see who the head coach is.

Kids think it's cool to play for the schools they see winning Championships on TV.

I don't know what the fuck Miles was doing today. McVeigh did not see the court in the last 8 mins of regulation until 2.8 left and he was out there as just a decoy. The only reason he went in in OT is because Tai fouled out. That was the only OT substitution he made until fuller went in with 30 seconds remaining. Jacobsen was on the bench all OT. Don't remember the last time Jordy saw the court but he too did not play in OT. But Roby, yes Isaiah FUCKING Roby, played the last 5 of Regulation and the entire OT.

Nobody sees Duke and Nebraska on the same level. But if Miles was at Duke and K was here. Wherr do you think those players are going. Nebraska with a proven top teir coach. Or Duke with a mid major Coach? It's Nebraska every time. Top facilities top coach equals top talent and a top teir winning percentage.
