Game 2 between North Carolina State and the Florida Gators was absolutely crazy. Home runs would happen at any moment. Calls came down to inches on multiple plays. It was in the 10th inning with Florida up by one run and Chris Diaz had a two strike count. Florida’s relief pitcher threw one which looked to be down to the middle to me where the umpire called it a strike. After watching the play again, Chris Diaz may have had an argument on the call. Florida’s dugout rushed the field and Chris Diaz went absolutely crazy. He had to be held back by teammates and was yelling at the umpire. If his teammates wouldn’t have been there, it probably would have gotten physical. This game was not for the weak hearted. The Florida Gators advance to the College World Series in Omaha.

Stoney Brook had men on 1st and 3rd and the batter got hit on the hand. The LSU fans were booing because they thought it hit the handle of the bat. The LSU coach comes out and protest and the ump makes the kid come back to the plate and hit. He got a bases clearing double.

Seemed like it hit his hand to me, but you have to make an effort to get out of the way

I've seen our guys not get awarded the base because of that

maybe I need to see it again then. I wasn't really looking to see if he tried to move out of the way, because it looked like he was starting his swing to me. I was looking to see if it hit the handle or his hand. Need another replay on that one.
