Apparently rainclouds are gathering. Does it often happen that a team is winning, and then after a rain delay, they've lost their momentum, and lose?

I am not sure how often it happens but it does happen some of the time. Sorry not really sure or much help

2 team Super Regionals (this weekend) are best of 3.

8 Team College World Series (played next weekend) is also double elimination thru two brackets.
The winner of each bracket plays a best of 3 Championship Series.
