Bowles is a perfect example of a DC who was a great DC but not as a HC.
He'll have a job within a few days of being fired.
he could be good for us at DC
rumor has it that callahan is sick of the circus
getting rid of tomsula would be foolish
i agreeThat makes sense for Callahan he wants stability so he can teach
Perfect landing place for him is Cleveland IMHO if he leaves. Owner Haslet is not stable but that line needs a good makeover and with Baker and a new coaching staff it’s a perfect jump back to HC candidate or OC candidate he is 62 now so 1 last shot might be what he is looking 4.
I wish him well he was great in Dallas while we had him as Oline coach.
Why not Tomsula as DC?I've heard him talked about in head coaching circles. He seems to be the strong silent type. I think that would be a perfect blend with Jay. He runs a 34 and is of course a former Redskin. Like Dolemite said though, Gruden's track record is to hire someone Dan wouldn't replace him with.
Heard on 106, can't remember who, but it was said Tomsula might quit if Maunsky is not fired. Tomsula feels his chances of getting a DC job or more are being tarnished by Manusky.
