I think the use of PED's had a lot to do with his production last season

the PED's were a result of miscommunication with his dr .

maybe but it's still a likely huge reason for his stats last season

Considering he wasnt even sure he was taking something that was banned, I highly doubt it. I mean its not like he was taking speed or Adderall 15 minutes before game time.

A miscommunication with a doctor eh. Something tells me that with his family, big time weight lifters/workout warriors, Murphy might be a little more up on the HGH/steroid game than the average person. That said.

Even when he was notching 25 sacks in his last 2 years at Stanford, including 15 his sr year which was 2nd best in the nation in 2013. Murphy was never considered an elite pass rusher. Yet his yearly sack totals rose every year by at least 3.5 sacks. He went from 1 sack as a frosh, 6.5 as a soph, 10 as a jr and 15 as a sr. He's a non-stop motor/effort guy. Did the PEDs help? Sure I imagine they did, but so did being in the league for a year and getting acclimated to the NFL pace and schedule. Murphy's sack total might not be as high next year as it was last year, but I do expect him to be effective as a pass rusher when he gets back in week 5. If he falls off or disappears completely this upcoming season that's when I'll attribute all his success from last year to PEDs.
