I think they've got a very good and they've certainly put themselves in the conversation. I do question whether they'll be able to sustain their dominance on the road for the duration of the season.

Leading the AL in wins on the road as of for a while now, ( let's face it national doesn't count since the don't have the DH)

Seattle is legit this season....

I like to wait until the trade deadline before I start to hand the title of "contender" to a team that hasn't been in years. There are plenty of teams each year that start off like gangbusters but lose steam and fade away quietly into the night.

With that said, I like what SEA is doing...the question is whether or not it is sustainable.

Got to start winning at Safeco, though. Winning on the road is nice, but if you can't do it in front of your own crowd, you aren't going anywhere.
