Ya seems like we are never a team that signs ooodles of undrafted like Tampa, Jax, Seattle, Minn, Buffalo and Indy always do. We had a few years with a decent amount but this is a huge year for us after a small year last year.

Guessing a handful get cut after rookie camp.

I'm not sure at my 180 lbs. that I can quite jump like that from the very first highlight. Very impressive. We did seem to go for players this year in the draft with very high explosive numbers. Simmons did things that in the draft they haven't seen from safeties in years. Yes his 40 time wasn't anything to get excited about but everything else just jumped off the charts.

Yeah the 40 time doesn't worry me too much if the guy is primarily a safety. It's more about reaction,instincts, tackling and the " hit fear factor " than the speed/cover corner capabilities at that position. I know the game is changing and you would love to have a safety with the cover skills as well but that's a rare combo to find. I'll take a Lynch,Dawkins,Reed,Weddle,Atwater,etc any day.
