Of note (to me at least):

Mike Smith (TB) - thought he had what it took to be a decent starter.
Steve Bernier (FLA) - has the tools to be a potential top 6 guy, just has work ethic issues.

man, I don't even think it was work ethic issues. Even when he was paired with the Sedins, he dug the pucks out, go to the right places, and just missed a hundred open nets. It was the strangest thing.

TSN had the top 10 goals in their list this morning... wouldn't you know, a rookie Bernier was in there out-muscling 3 guys on a spin-o-rama to the net.

He looked like a world beater his first season in San Jose. I`d actually like to see my Sens take a chance on him. He`s cheap and is an RFA after this year so if he doesn`t work out you let him walk.
