Standard head to head categories on Yahoo. 12 team league, I had pick 11. This is my only big money league, think I drafted a solid team.

Biggest problem i see with this team is speed... Desmond jennings is your only speed guy... and he wont even give you 30... But that is only one category out of 10...

Also, i dont like having no bench pitchers, but i am sure you can fix that pretty easily...

I agree with Milk's assessment on lack of speed and pitching depth, but I think you are good without any steals. Instead of trying to acquire speed, you might be better off punting the category and trying to compete in the other 4 offensive cats.

As for the pitching, you definitely need to address that. Griffin may start the season on the DL and Feliz may lose the closer battle.

Otherwise though, I think you did well.

Yeah I think i'm gonna drop Griffin and Feliz. Heard the closer battle may go to Soria, so may pick him up, he went undrafted. As for Griffin, they said he will miss 3 weeks from 2 days ago, so i'll look into that as well.

Best RP available are, Mujica, Gregg, Perez, Willehelmsen and Brothers. None of which, are closers.

I agree punting steals at this point is your best move... But i dont agree that dropping Escobar is your best move... I think Chris young is the better drop, and i would drop nick franklin over escobar... Escobar might turn into trade bait, the others are just wasted garbage...

I think Young is actually going to have a solid year with the Mets. It was my one homer pick of the draft, 2nd to last round, i'm gonna hold onto him. If Miller gets dealt or Franklin does, it will work out for my team.

I disagree. Franklin has far more value than Escobar. Franklin is going to get dealt soon, and maybe to the Tigers.

I could handle that. But I question Franklins range a little. Thought he'd be at second before Cano was brought in. Back in topic: I like the top end starters you have. If you like working the wire for matchups could be a nice staff Johnny.

I mean, I lime my pitching staff. I have 2 legit aces in Kershaw and Fernandez, once Latos gets back that gives me 3 solid #1s and having Samardajiza and Dickey is solid as well. Hoping Dickey has a bounce back year.

Guess that depends on what's out there and how long you think you can afford to wait.
Personally Franklin doesn't do much for me, but in a 12 team league, the scraps that might be left to choose from probably wouldn't do much for me either. And if what's there are the same retreads that are always there, than you may as well keep Franklin, at least he has the potential for being better.

My own opinion is that I'd rather have De Aza than Franklin. But I'm very biased against players in Triple A.. so consider the source I guess.

Otherwise it's about like I thought it'd be, none are very exciting, and when Franklin comes back up, he'd probably be better than most if not all of em.
Guess my advice would be to hang on, his MI status is worth more than an OF.

Be interested to hear some of the other, more established gurus opinions.

Finished the week 7-2-1 holding down first place. My pitching is fucking amazing and that's with Kershaw and Latos on the DL
