Gretzky comparisons are pretty pointless. If someone one as (relatively) talented as Gretzky playing today, they still wouldn't be able to create the separation that Gretzky did in his time. Just not possible. And anyway, Crosby isn't. He still needs to hit another level to reach 99 or 66 level, and really, if he hasn't done it already, it probably won't happen. But I think he's approaching 68 level, if he can keep up this play for a while.
