LOL, fundraising to pay money to a guy that will earn in one year what many of those people won't see in their lives.

Only Seattle.

This is worse, much worse, than people comping celebrities for dinner. I said this to someone, but they said its good for the restaurant. How so? Do they advertise it? Do they bring their celebrity friends... Only to comp them? Do celebrities tweet that they went there free? Nah, people just do it as if they'll appreciate it, remember them, or something.

You guys have no idea how nuts they are here about the Seahawks this year, people were outraged Kevin Seifert of ESPN wrote a column about how the 49ers are playing the best football right now out of anyone. They are also 49er obsessed, I can get a lot of my 49er coverage listening to Seattle sports radio.

Not particularly, you live in Illinois whereas I live in Seattle, so I know how the media here focuses on the 49ers in a way the SF media does not.

I download and listen to 3 separate Seattle sports podcasts pretty much every day. I've got an idea (new media...crazy).

Raising 50K to pay Lynch's fine makes as much sense as giving up wedding gifts to raise money for Obama's re-election (remember those ads?).
