Don't be a jabroni.
Turcotte was put on LTIR which means he won't be available until the second week of April per LTIR requirements and Akil Thomas was recalled and joined the team today for the game in Winnipeg tomorrow.
Thomas has been injury prone too the last several years including shoulder surgeries on both shoulders. He's gritty, broke through in the AHL this season and will finally get his NHL shot.
He was drafted in the 2nd round (51) in 2018, that same wonderful draft that got the Kings that dynamo Kupari at 20th overall (OT: Kupari has been scratched even after coming off IR, looking he will have played a whopping 27 games for Winnipeg and had went 0G/1A all season. Watch he gets inserted tomorrow night and scores his first of the season) so he has waited 6 years for this.
While he's had success at the AHL level this season, we all know that doesn't translate at the NHL level. If Dunno is still out tomorrow I expect him in the lineup but not in a T6 role.
Hope he gets in, prospect we haven't seen yet in the NHL. Can't be any worse than what we have seen overall since Bowlby rook over.
