Muckelroy is back but doesn't play WLB.

New starter...Dan Skuta with Vincent Rey subbing on 3rd down.

Hobspin drives me crazy...

this is what he used in that same story to describe Vincent Rey...

At 6-2, 250, he's small but fast and came up with nine special teams tackles last season.

In what f'n world is 6'2" 250 pounds SMALL!!!

They resigned Muckleroy to take his place on the roster, and Skuta will play 1st and 2nd down at WILL, while Vincent Rey takes 3rd down.

This sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

again. Bengals neglect depth. they begin each season with a reasonably good starting set with nothing to back them up with. Then when injuries happen they are like :O whaaaaaaat?

It's football, they are going to get injured, plan for it.

Yep, our best linebacker gone for the season....

Whenever we get to design the tombstone for Marv's career (probably never, but one can dream), his cause of death is going to be listed as 'failure to ever develop an even decent linebacker or safety.' Is it really this hard?

No, it's not that hard. We're just that bad.

If he was our best LB, then we are seriously fucked. He sucked that last game along with Lawson and Rey.

Howard was by far and away our best LBer...and the only one with a punchers chance to cover a TE. Burfict tweeted that he's starting this week. I hope they're putting him in the middle for Rey...but I gotta feeling they'll be playing him at WIL. Is this setting the guy up for failure?

Isn't Rey M already destined to fail?

I'd imagine they slide Rey over considering he has experience at WIL. A

Not really suprising. You think every Bengal that takes the field is 'terrible' or a bum and JWILL thinks (insert firnge player to be cut) is a potential probowler. Pretty predictable, actually
