No, the Rams and 49ers should not be broken up. Also the Steelers/Ravens/Browns should never be broken up. The Steelers/Ravens goes back to Steelers/Browns and the Ravens/Browns is a very touchy subject in Cleveland. Too much history thrown away here.

I agree Mutigers. I want to Ram the ball down the throats of the Seahags and the Niners. Pete Carroll is a snake and he runs his mouth way too much. Harbaugh is more respectable and I like what we did with the niners last year and I want it to continue into this year.

I like are current division... because of what you said. Carroll is indeed a snake and have you noticed when he loses, he always looks at the ground? I like Harbaugh (Raven's Harbaugh) but the one who coaches the 40whiners seems like a whiney punk. I still remember the handshake ordeal between him and Jim Schwartz of the Lions. I respect what he has done in SF, but thats it.

I do wish there was more geographical consistency but there is no chance Id want to join the AFC South. I could care less about the Jags, Texans or Titans.

I agree with staying with the current division, Rams, 49ers, Seahawks and Cardinals. What I would like to see in the scheduling is a rotating schedule that has us not going to Seattle every year for the last game. Move that around where they come to St Louis for a last game every other year.

Hey Blue,

I understand what you mean. I like the idea of all week 17 games being divisional games, like you, it's time we play a different opponent. And why does it have to be AT Seattle again instead of in St .Louis?

I think no division games should be played before week 5 because teams are still coming together at that point. The last few weeks should be largely division games but it does need to be mixed up a bit. I'm ok if you want 2 teams to always end against each other like some college rivalries do, but at least switch off location.

I fully agree. The only knock on this is that teams will beat each other up before the playoffs but I think that is a good thing, as well. Rivalries are everything in sports, imo

The Steelers and Ravens have played week 1 a few times in recent years and its ridiculous. Game like that are meant to be played weeks 11 and 15 or something around there.

I am in with the general consensus of staying put in the present division. The Rams-Seehags-Niners and to some extent Cardinals are all becoming heated rivalries and this NFC West is really becoming a pretty tough division.

The problem with the moving to the AFC and another division, is the fan support that goes both ways with all these organizations. 9er fans want to beat the Rams, Seahawks fans want to beat the Rams and the Cardinals just wan a rival with someone and being here in Arizona, it is the team where they came from St Louis. Stay the same is best for all concerned.
