I didn't get to see the game bit I'm guessing no one even tried to lay down a drag bunt leading off an inning just to get on in what was going to be a tight game. Totally disappointed in the young players and the old guys. Of course, they keep throwing hall of famers at us but that's no excuse. I thought that the Phils would have great motivation vs Atlanta in these final 4 games. Maybe we want the Braves to have home field advantage. Drink up!

No. IMO it will make a big difference. The .300 spray hitter Revere is vital to this team in that lead off position. Just have to hope his ankle is completely healed. If you look at the Ryan Howard - Darin Ruf totals in the lineup for 2013 it was 138 total hits, 25 hr, 73 rbi, .245. A healthy Howard himself should improve on that.

No one's predicting those numbers ever again. 25 - 30 homers would be useful in a lineup with Ruf, Brown, and Utley.
