After the Reds win the World Series this year, It's gonna be time for the Bengals to bring the Lombardi Trophy to the Jungle!!!!

You'll soon learn the only thing around here more cynical than Reds fans are Bengals fans. So don't pay attention when they start calling you blind homer.
What's this 'they' shit Doug? Are you implying that you aren't 'one' of the cynical fans?
Sure, I'm cynical too, hence the monicker "pessimistic homer". But I'm not going to be the one referring to Ryan as blind homer. I think a little youthful enthusiasm might be good around here. There's plenty of us around to be negative.
I think the thing that made me roll my eyes about the original post was the suggestion that the Reds would win the world series. It's not clear if Ryan has been watching the last 2 months of the season.

The tone of everything Reds and Bengals is just so negative here now. Sure it's easily justified by what has transpired for both since the Reds went wire to wire in '90 and the Bengals rolled to the Super Bowl during the '88 season. Looked at from another viewpoint though, the Reds have two division titles in three years and the Bengals have been in the playoffs three of the last four. Now to those of us who have been around awhile, it's all too easy to point to the failures, but Ryan sees hope for the immediate future. He's not jaded like most of us are now, so he should be allowed to enjoy his exuberance and spread it on these forums without us going so negative. I can remember not so long ago when I was like him, and wish I still was. Looked at in a vacuum, Reds and Bengals fans are lucky to be consistent contenders presently and in the recent past. Ryan's viewpoint is refreshing to me.
Did you find Jesus?
The Reds have been playing like complete garbage for them, and theya re still 11 over .500 and 5.5 games out of first. Not too shabby. If they can actually start putting up some offense to match that stellar starting pitching, they will be doing alright down the stretch.
I hope Ludwick boosts this offense, because we did dick at the trade deadline to help the offense.
And how long have we been saying that?? Forever. So I don't expect it to suddenly kick in.
That stellar pitching is now fully in the toilet.
Great series against the Redbirds.... Can we just end the season now? It's time for some football!
