Well JVR was a beast, Mez had high numbers cause he took Prongers role on defense, and the others are the only ones who showed up from time to time. I just think he was a way better compliment than Jagr..

i guess i'm more hopeful than anything.. i do think he can make a bigger (or at least equal) difference as leino did.. almost in the same role too except i think jagr will score more goals, especially on the PP.. but they do play a pretty similar style (if i remember jagr correctly)

if you look at it financially though, do you think leino will be 1.2 mil better than jagr? cause i dont. i see them at least having equal seasons this year

Yes def a good PP person, big body , good shot, While leino isn't that great of a skater he has great puck handling skills and is a very good passer.

What I really want to know is when we get to see Testuide? This kid could be a beast too..

I think that Jagr will have 60 pts, bare minimum, next season. That alone makes him (at 3.3M) worth more than Leino (at 4M+).

Just my take on the situation.

I think what makes the Jagr acceptable is the 1 year length. He works out great, if not he's gone next year. We will be a better team the following year and now will have cap space as well and a team who has gelled together for a full season.

Nice to see you keep up with Phanthoms.I,m guessing that you're talking about Mike Testwuide and not his bro J.P.?

He (Mike) has good size,and hands for a big guy.I say for now,the Flyers stay pat,and tweak in guys from the Phanthoms when needed.As it is right now,these guys have to learn to play with each other.
