The Thing was one of the R rated movies my friends and I snuck into -- We bought tickets to see "ET" and strolled right into the screen next door ...

My friend's Dad drove us to the mall where the theaters were, and when we got out, he asked "What movie are you seeing ?" ... We were 14 .. My friend - whose parents were very religious - replied "The one about the alien" lol

We almost threw up from laughing once we got into the theater because of what he said ... And then the movie scared the **** out of us

Random thoughts:

Peyton Manning's opening game against the Ravens in 2012 or so - where he threw for 7 TDs passing. In my mind that was one of the great QB performances of all time.

Bjack gets a - targeting with the helmet - call just 4 plays after he served a suspension for that same thing. That's a cry for help. Bjack may already be showing a CTE behavior with play like that.

No matter what happens with the balance of the Broncos season - Sean Payton has imposed his will on this team and made them like it. Sometimes - HC's successful for a nice run of years - eventual the team unconsciously stops listening -because they heard it before. Payton has this team's attention. This game against the Browns is a coaching matchup that could be a difference maker in the final score. Both teams have played at a high level and both teams have weaknesses. From that I can see how a HC would have impact on this game. My money is on Sean Payton.

I have been mesmerized by the Bronco's Dline pass rush. It is true they aren't racking up the numbers for which the level of excellence is determined but watch the Dline against the Browns They play with a very obvious energy - they religiously play with discipline in maintaining their lane of responsibility and relentlessly push them backward. They haven't sacked the QB much - but contained the QB from running much of a distance. I think the energy they play with wears down the Olinemen who are blocking them by the 4th quarter.

Ok Mr. Selfish - if you left the board - who among us could replace bits like this? On the other hand - maybe AI will find a way to replace you and we can keep the wit and wisdom and leave the miasma that is the rest of you off in a ditch somewhere.
