Well, the Nuggets have not started off the year with a championship hangover. Indications are that the bench players are improved over last year.

Top 2023 observations:

1) Jokic is still the best player in basketball.
2) Watson, Braun, Gordon, KCP and Nnaji - give the Nugs a defensive ace for almost anyone on the floor.
3) The starters may be improved over last year.
4) Calvin "The Truth" Booth - has engineered a team comfortable and ready for any situation.
5) Reggie Jackson - contributions have made a big jump over last year.
6) Payton Watson - has learned to play withih himself.

Yeah, it sucked. I didn;t watch the entire game between the NFL game, Trail Blazers, Penguins and WS game on I had a lot to keep track of today. I saw a lot of the game though. I feel like everytime I watched Pittsburgh would score and when I flipped, Anaheim would. However, I was watching when the Ducks scored the game winner.

But hey.

The Broncos beat the Chiefs.

You know better than that! It wasn’t pretty, but winning on a B2B is never easy. The O was inconsistent, but the D was consistent.
