Not sure this makes sense.400k turf installed this week. Maybe that will help us with all of the pulled hamstrings.

Not sure this makes sense.
The importance to me is that the owner is willing to spent $400k for a marginal benefit for the last game of a forgotten season - he's all in. That's how it makes sense - as a symbol of the owner's willingness to get stuff done. Not sure this makes sense.

Yeah, NSS, I was commenting on the spend to re-sod a field. Why it doesn’t make sense (to my addled mind) is that it won’t have any roots and it will likely have just as poor footing. It was a joke.
If you haven't noticed we have had a $hit load of hamstring injuries this year.
It's not like your hair plugs Pump - the sod is in a totally controlled soil environment over a sandy loam and a warming element - so experience in the yard doesn't apply here.Yeah, NSS, I was commenting on the spend to re-sod a field. I get Mingo’s point, too. It’s one I attempted to make earlier regarding the head coaching vacancy. A prospective coach will likely find the deep ownership pockets attractive. Especially when they’re open to the most frivolous of spends. I imagine Dove Valley will be a veritable football Disney World.
Let’s see how the field plays today. This was my concern.
So you’re saying the sod is cut much deeper than anything I’ve seen in a landscaping realm? Then treated like a putting surface in Augusta? It's not like your hair plugs Pump - the sod is in a totally controlled soil environment over a sandy loam and a warming element - so experience in the yard doesn't apply here.

If it's the stuff I've seen, it's grown in trays under a controlled environment and then each tray of sod is put in place before the game. Of course, it could be a new variation, but the other item of note is that this sod is one and done - meaning ownership knows it's a temp fix and will be replacing the sod permanently for next season. So you’re saying the sod is cut much deeper than anything I’ve seen in a landscaping realm? You have the ole VCR machine fired up today?Anyone else remember the Broncos/49ers game in Denver which came down to a chip shot FG for a 49er's win, but South Stands snowballs peppered the field as the 9er kicker started his leg swing on the kick? He missed and the Broncos won.
they are hosting a “fans on the field” day Jan 20thNot sure this makes sense.
