15 inches of rain - Onion Creek got within 6 backyards of my house (although - I'd say I'm 10 feet higher than that). Power was down for 7 hours - lost the contents of my refrigerator as I was in Houston on Friday - had to get back over the back roads from Bastrop as 71 was closed down.

Missed that - but they were interviewing somebody - who had climbed up in a tree out of his car stuck in the flood waters - while he was still up there. Crazy stuff.

I was a firefighter in San Marcos - years ago - I've seen a few floods in central Texas - this one was a load.

I was in Wimberley last week - and saw the flooding from Memorial Day - I understand downtown had no flooding in this storm.
