I read an article yesterday that theorized that a second wave of COVID-19 would breakout this fall, around September. This second outbreak could be worse then the first. If this happens it could threaten the all football seasons. There are so many theories out there, and they vary greatly, making difficult at best to know what to believe. Only time will tell.

Below is a link to the story of interested:
Another wave of coronavirus will likely hit the US in the fall. Here's why and what we can do to stop it - CNN

This thought is why people are concerned about going to games this fall. This “theory” is what has all professional and college sports re-thinking how they will handle this coming season in the likelihood that it does strike again this fall.

Fans or no fans I am just ready for the season.

Nobody really knows what is going to happen with the virus at this point. If it will come back, how a vaccine will work, when a vaccine will be available. Who/percentage of people may have antibodies for it already, etc. People just don’t know without data and more testing.

Agree. The lack of knowledge is the scary part about this virus.

The more things change the more they stay the same
(In Walter Cronkite voice)

“and we have splashdown...an early morning one, in the Atlantic Ocean, just off the coast of Georgia. Cosmonaut Greginski has set the record for space travel...and staying out of touch. Researchers are anxious to see the effects of his 4 1/2 year absence from earth. Has his personality changed? Will he finally retire? Will he still recognize American football? These and many other questions will be fascinating to discover after man’s longest tenure in outer space.
“Welcome home Cosmonaut Greginski!”

Don Shula passed away this morning. His son is on our coaching staff.
RIP Don. NFL’s all time winningest coach.

He lives at 1,200 ft in elevation - with so many tornados - you can't get high because the warning siren is always going off.

Here’s a hypothetical question:

Let’s say games are played this year with no, or at best, very few fans in the stadiums. What happens to home field advantage? Teams still have to travel - i.e. early starts on Eastern Time Zone for Western teams, local factors like altitude or hot humid weather in Florida early in the season, etc.

In the past betting lines have been about 3 points a game for the HFA. What happens now in this new environment? Is it down to one point? Or what?

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome. It will take a while to get back in the swing of things.
Yes I still work, only about 8-10 hours a day now.
Came down with MS on Christmas Day 2017. So much slower than I was.(no wise cracks) Football keeps me sane..........literally.
