Higher ratings than previous years. They got the number 1 recruit in the USA from last year (DE Alfano) - on a transfer from Alabama (he left school because his grandmother got sick). Generally - bigger more physical players. At QB they got a guy named Brendon Lewis who was the Texas 4A offensive player of the year. An Olineman named Jake Wray - who decomitted from Ohio St to sign with the Buffs. Brenden Rice WR - faster than his dad Jerry Rice. A couple of 4 star WRs. Looks like a good LB class. A 4 star CB.

Not signing yet - is a guy who committed to the Buffs after decommitting to LSU at RB (Clayton). They are also in on a top Rush OLB (Jason Harris). Former Buff and NFL Star Christain Fauria's son Caleb Fauria signed at TE.

All and all - Mel Tucker seems to be the best recruiter in Boulder since McCartney.

Torrian Pittman S - Is Kavika Pittman's son - and the grandson of Drew Pearson

Caleb Fauria TE - a bunch of cousins played in the NFL - plus his dad Christian Fauria

Jake Wray OT - Great Grandfather was Art Linkletter (switched his commitment from Ohio St. Had offers from Alabama, Clemson and LSU (plus 10 other P-5 schools).

Jordon Berry DT - Step Brother is D'Anthony Thomas Wr - played for the Chiefs and Ravens. Deshaun Jackson WR in NFL is his cousin.

IMO, Carr is a tier 2 QB and actually is playing as well this year as he did in the 2016 12-4 year. I have no issue with Lock competing 71 % , have a 2.5-1 TD/int ratio 8 YPA and Over 100 QBR

is that good enough to compete for the afcw and in the playoffs?

I have always though Carr was underrated

never been to the playoffs to know how he completes in more critical games
