Fun week for the Denver Winter teams.

For the Denver WalMarts, they didn’t have a pick in Thursday’s draft, yet came Away with 7’ 3” of the best name of the draft - Bol Bol. I like to think he may become Mr Basketbol.

And then last night the Colorado WalMarts came away with two hot prospects picking 4 (thank you Senators) and 16. At 4 they got the best Dman in the draft with Byram and a high risk, reward forward at 16 in Newhook.

Bright futures. Buy Denver & Colorado Walmart stock.

The Bowlen family got Pat Bowlen's Gold Jacket - because the jacket was sent to them after his election to the HOF and before his death. Otherwise if your dead - you don't get a jacket. Roger Goodell probably gets a cut on the saving on each jacket.

Denver signed Iowa F Tyler Cook. Prokising prospect for Iowa coming out of HS but never got his game to a consistent level.

Was very happy with Portland getting Nassir Little. Was glad Denver got Bol. Love seeing Manute’s son in the NBA. He had a killer spiderweb on his suite too.

I'd love to see Bol Bol Bowl

Not bad when you have Draft Crazy and LGM pulling down the medium.

She took my money without telling me anything. I demand recompense.

When it’s been 85 hours - over 3 1/2 days - since the last posting, I’d say that defines this forum is boring this week. ;)

Here's a text @sprinstein sent me: Rama Lama Ding Dong. I think Ding Dong is what Springstein calls @Draft Crazy. I'm guessing that @LGM is Rama Lama for obvious reasons.

Massive fire erupts at Jim Beam bourbon warehouse in Kentucky

I think all of us can understand and feel the regret for 45,000 barrels of newly born Bourbon whiskey ravaged by the scourge of fire in the wee early hours of the morning. Fire should be kept only in the places the law allows it to be and with that - a wall of protection shall be built to allow fire to rage without endangering the safety of innocents or the whiskey supply. As you surely may demand to know - the answer is "Yes" I have used Fire in my youth for recreational purposes. But even then - my consorting with Fire was never outside the law - and I took pains to use it only on trash and a variety of cigarettes.

There will be those who say - "it takes fire to distill the whiskey" and they would be correct. For those who say that - let me remind you - that whiskey is often referred to as "Fire Water" making Whiskey a member of the Fire family.

I think it is time - after all these years - to take this menace to civilization known as fire and declare war against Fire just as soon as Congress reconvenes from its recess.

And.... Go Broncos!
