Things I learned over the summer

Hey y'all, I have doth returned. You miss me? Even notice I was gone? *cry* Oh well. It was a lovely summer. Of course, spending part of it in another country helps, but it's about time for Fall to come and that mean...hockey!!! Here are some of the thing I learned.

General:

- Other than making women wear as less as possible, 30c degree days serve no useful purpose.
- Baseball is still boring
- If you complain there is nothing to watch over the summer, your significant other will force you to watch a silly kids cartoon show
- My Little Pony is the best show ever!!
- The sounds of people texting is now the most annoying sound on Earth
- Baseball is STILL boring
- When your significant other gets her hair cut, she will be mad at your even when you had nothing to do with it.
- I don't always drink beer. But when I do, I prefer Dos Equis
- There is simply no escaping Justin Bieber

About England:

- Pretty much every place you take a tour of is haunted.
- The secret path to Hogwarts is nowhere in London no matter where you look.
- There is a new frontrunner for "Riot of the Year"
- Making even the slightest joke about soccer is NOT recommended.
- Referring to soccer as soccer is NOT recommended.
- Horses over there seem a lot more sophisticated than ours
- The roundabout is amusing for about 25.3 seconds

But the most important thing of all I learned:

- I MISS HOCKEY!!!

It's funny my cuz from Toronto was down for the day and we were talking about him. Like I put it another thread I wish Tim well but I feel the concussions he has taken have had a profound effect on the way he plays and hasn't been the same player since them.

Hope he turns it around but I don't think so.
