expecting different results.

This is not a shot at anyone in particular. Its a shot at everything Dallas Cowboys related.

Take two steps back and think about it

OK...I thought about it and the point must be over my head. I took the Dallas Cowboy Flyer bus back in the Cotton Bowl days as a kid. Got to be at SB5 and SB6. Withstood the Landry firing and rode the high times with Jimmy's bunch. Now it's 16 seasons of all that is jerry. What exactly are you suggesting. Quit the team,...find another?

Jerry doesnt deserve your support or your money. All he deserves is an empty stadium, no merchandise sales and a glance at the TV numbers. Nobody should be enabling him, but all of you will. You will continue to buy shit from ShopCowboys.com or wherever and will continue to buy tickets instead of staying home and watching the game.

Born and raised in NY, I love my Cowboys more then my Yankees. Somewhere in my house is a pic of me getting a Dorsett Jersey for Xmas. And something from the Cowboys will be placed in my casket and it will be placed their by a Giants fan.

You go ahead and buy a Seahawks hat, If Captain Jerry ever gets this ship off the sandbar, I'll be here ready to go.

There are 32 teams, so in theory you should expect to win a Championship every 32 years. I still remember how happy I was when we beat Washington in that Sunday night game for our only win of the year. Sports are cyclical and watching sports with a feeling of entitlement always makes a person come off like a spoiled whiner when times are tough, even if not really true. How much fun is the eventual Championship if you aren't there to enjoy the ride? This season has been frustrating, but I still enjoy watching the games and rooting for wins. I can't wait for this Sunday's game and really look forward to having a week 17 showdown for all the marbles.

Let's look t what we did after drafting Witten. It was obvious to many in 2003 that Witten was the real deal. So we go out and use high 2nd round pick on Fasano. Then trade him a few years later for NOTHING and then use a high 2nd on Bennet. I really think this is fucking stupid. Then we pick the slowest TE in the draft in the 2nd round in the last draft? Escobar is too fucking slow to be a starting TE in the NFL. Why in the world would a team continually burn 2nd round picks on players that will never start? This is INSANITY

I've used this argument in the past. While it may sound like an excuse if a team gets a SB win every 32 years they gave their share. Please don't mistake that as I'm happy with 8-8.

We have all questioned the TE picks, but I for one am not leaving as a fan. Good and or bad I'm a Cowboys fan. You want to jump? Jump. Just don't come back. It whiners like you who give us the bandwagon label.

While Jerry Jones may resemble the Op's thread title I'm on board for the ride. And while I am not happy with the performance over the last 18 years I am still hopeful the Cowboys finally get it right.

Now before a certain poster comes out and starts bitching that does not mean that I am backing Jerry Jones for GM of the year. I am still hopeful of the blind squirrel theory smacking Jerry upside the head for 2-3 years and we get lucky with injuries and go on a run.

Hey it's Christmas anything is possible this time of year right?

In all fairness though, the Cowboys have taken a hit with injuries this year and I think Shaun Lee's absence has been huge. I think the pieces are in place if you dump Kiffin (I've never been a fan of the Tampa 2) who is far too conservative--and I think the game has passed him by, bolster the O line and fix the injuries on defense. Though I bleed Charger powder blue, I've always had a special place for the Cowboys. When I was growing up in San Diego, one of the teachers at my school was somehow related to Don Meredith. He came to our school and I got to shake his hand, and for a couple of weeks I was like, "The San Diego who???".

Injuries have been crippling and more than a couple of guys that are getting playing time on the defensive side of the ball should not be on an NFL field for any reason other than emergency. Not sure how you "fix the injuries on the defense".

OL has been very good lately (still needs to be addressed going forward of course).

How do you expect us to stay at home and watch the game if the stadium is empty? Have you ever heard of blackouts? If you don't want to be a fan of this team then so be it. Leave the rest of us who do alone, this board would be a lot better without you doom and gloom posters. Oh and take Fry with you when you go.

Yes, my team sucks and has for some time. That doesn't nor will it ever mean that I will stop supporting, buying, wearing Cowboy gear. For somebody who has such great taste in sports teams as you, you make such outlandish posts - STFU dude.

16 years that equals out to .500 and one playoff win, ONE. I really cant make it any clear.

As far as week 17. The script is already written (if the game even matters after Sunday). Romo throws the ball 60 times, throws a pick finally (should be expected if you have 60 passes to have at least one pick in said game) late in the game (if its even a game) and we ride off into the sunset blaming Romo ala the prevous 2 seasons.

How about I pull out my penis and your inferior ass slobs on it for awhile? Fans are entitled to their opinions of this team. you use Tampons and waive pom-poms I see this mess for it for what it is.

Let me make this clear. I am a Cardinals fan because I am from Missouri. I am a Bulls fan because they were always on TV when I was growing up. I am a Cowboys fan because of the same reason as the Bulls. Really I should be a Chiefs fan but I never liked them. I did not choose to be fans of these teams outside of Dallas. I am fans of these teams based off of my geographical location. If I was born on the east or west coast or basically anywhere else. I wouldnt give two fucks about any of these teams.

WTF if the script is already written why are you here bitching ?

You know the result already with your magic crystal ball then you should be in Las Vegas making mega bank Right ?

Since you don't seem to understand Football basics let me give u a hint. They have to play the game to find out what happens. We don't know yet ! We can speculate but to say the script is written shows only an opinion of what may or may not happen per your football knowledge and OPINION.
No facts in evidence yet .

So lets see how the game unfolds B 4 saying what will happen.

Let me guess. You became a cowboy fan in 1993.
