Dealing strictly with the Eastern Conference, in the last seven years the eighth and final playoff spot was secured with a low of 83 points and a high of 94 points. We will take the average of that and say this year will require 88/89 points. The Devils have 30 games remaining and 40 points as of today. Simple math says that they will likely need 48 points in those final 30 games.

Result? 24 wins over their next 30 games. You can sub in some OT losses and say they can maybe go 21-3-6. Three regulation losses over 30 games. Yeah, it is safe to say every single game is a "must win."

I think I ready yesterday that Marty isnt playing tonight (no surprise) but I dont remember seeing that we called anyone up so I'm hoping Hedberg bring his A game

Going to this as well. My buddy got tickets from work. He put in for about 3 different games and he got Rangers, although I don't know how someone else didn't scoop that up.
