Why?

Because there are some who want to discuss the show ad how it relates to the books. And there some who don't want to know what happens in the books. Using the spoiler tags is the best solution to allow everyone to use the thread to their own purposes.

But the show does basically follow the comics. I would be shocked if the Negan arc ends differently from the books, for example. Openly discussing that would absolutely be considered a spoiler to most.

I tried creating a separate thread for open book talk, but no one other than me ever used it, so it died a slow death. The spoiler tags allow everyone to use this thread as they prefer.

so apparently Maggies death scene is floating on youtube right now.

The video I linked to earlier has been taken down.
If they had the preview that wasn't supposed to be shown for a few more weeks taken down, but are ok with the Maggie death scene staying up, that pretty much confirms that she doesn't die, it was just an alternate take.

I having been going back and forth on this... if they kill one of the secondary characters (Eugene, etc.), they run the risk of everyone getting upset because it was hyped so much only to be mediocre kill. If they kill Glenn, everyone will say it was predictable because he died in the comics.

Rick had blood all over the right side of his face so unless he moved someone over for the kill I think that narrowed it down to Abraham, Maggie, and Glenn, Darryl. Abraham to me would be a mediocre kill of a somewhat secondary character. I can see them killing Darryl giving how strong the fan following is on him... but would be shocking if they did.

If it is Maggie, that would be gruesome because she is a female and pregnant. Would definitely mess people up emotionally.

Will be interesting. One part of me doesn't want them to off one of the characters I like.. the other part will be irritated if they don't kill one of the main players.

The only way I see a win:win for me personally is for them to kill Carl. Never have liked him in this show... the older he gets the more annoying his character. But I doubt he gets it just yet... else Rick would have been more upset afterwards in the preview we saw.

As far as the spoilers, I still believe every single character did the death scene and they might just be waiting for something not leaked before pulling the trigger on who it is. The whole cast was shooting for this season as well, that is how guarded this secret is. There is going to be alot of editing.

That's not true. 2 main characters only filmed episode 1. They have not been seen on set since.
